Site Skins, Userscripts & More!

Site Skins

Wondering why my AO3 screenshots look different than yours? Site Skins are why. Site skins are a fantastic way to change the look of AO3 on both desktop and mobile. The site skins below are my absolute faves. I’ve used both for years, and I highly recommend them!

• Rosé Pine Site Skins
• Tide: a flat and clean skin for Ao3

Userscripts

Everyone

• AO3 Fix Paragraph Spacing
  • Removes excessive spacing between paragraphs on AO3.
• AO3 Menu Items
  • Add more options to dropdown.
• AO3: Reorder Tags with Drag & Drop
  • Drag & drop tags into the order you’d like before posting. Copy and reorder tags after posting, if needed.
• AO3:Comment Formatting and Preview
  • Adds buttons to insert HTML formatting, and shows a live preview box of how the comment will look.
• ao3 rekudos converter
  • automatically comment on a fic if you’ve left kudos before.

Exchange/Event Mods

• AO3 Exchange requests’ names link to their profiles
  • Adds linked names to requests.
• AO3 Hide Drafts in Collection
  • Adds a toggle button on the Manage Items page of collections to Hide/Show Drafts to make reviewing and approving works easier.
• Add Owned Tagset to AO3 Menus
  • Adds a link to tag sets you own to your own user pages. Should work with most site skins as long as they do not hide the user greeting (“Hi, [username]!”).
